My faculty

The situation in my faculty has always been a difficult, complicated and agitated. There are a lot of demands of students and employees that haven’t been heard. The grade of participation is very low; nobody gets involved with the demands of this group. Is common to see some students trying to convince other students, but the results are harmful. Many of us have listened their points without any interest although these are very important aspects of our career, and also about our faculty. It seems like anybody would be interest on these. Unfortunately, when people who decide the most important things in our university do what they like to do with our money, or our points of view, it’s so late. Nobody is going to do anything to make the things better, because of you have been wasting your time in other things, less what you should it. I’m not a saint. I haven’t participated on this movement, but I’ve tried. I guess the way to make all thing things better is to create other spaces to participate, different ways to take part of some movement, ways we don’t’ know yet. A first step to resolve this situation and improve this reality is to get a way to include and incorporate other ways to express and communicate. On the first term of this year I tried to concrete this idea with a group of friends. We created the collective “Miercoles” which came to changed way to express and demand. In our group we worked to express our demands in an artistic form. We use to appear the spaces in our university, and our performances took part in the middle of our faculty.
This was a way to take part of the faculty, create common spaces and feel ourselves like true participates and actors.
